Fertility: Help, Information, and Support

Being told you can't conceive is heartbreaking. Even when I was young and unsure if I even wanted kids of my own, being told that it wasn't going to even be an option for me was terrible. I was supposed to be able to have kids. I mean, naturally, biologically-I was supposed to be able to conceive. Sometimes I felt defective, and I was often hesitant to tell those I entered into serious relationships with, especially if I knew the person I was with wanted kids someday.

A large part of this blog is sharing my story and journey with you, as well as helping you along on your own journey. I'm not a Dr, and I don't have all the answers. I have a fair amount of working medical knowledge for the average person, and I have my own experiences and research to help me guide you. My main focus here, because it's the illness that affected me, is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, but I welcome anyone with any fertility issues to follow along here on the blog or try one of my meal plans. There is an abundance of evidence tying reproductive health to what we eat or don't eat, and that's the basis for the advice I give here.

This is where you'll find my posts on fertility. This can include advice, information, research, personal experiences, and more. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email at allie@domesticatedjunkie.com
